About

Assessments Plus provides holistic and independent assessments within the child protection sector. We recognise that families come in all shapes and sizes and therefore adopt a child-centred and family focused approach when engaging with families. Our work is underpinned by a trauma-informed and strength-based framework of practice, taking into consideration the requirement for compassion, nurture and most importantly safety when interacting and engaging with families. We provide evidenced-based and detailed reports to support key decision makers within the child protection sector to make informed decisions relating to children and families which ultimately seek to ensure the safety and well-being of all children. At Assessments Plus, we value the importance of continued learning and development, as such, our assessors participate in regular professional development to ensure they remain up to date with important changes within the sector, and to ensure best practice. Our assessors are experienced professionals with degree qualifications within the human services arena and have significant working experience within the child protection sector. We understand the importance of working collaboratively with government and non-government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families. Our work is undertaken with the safety and well-being of families and children in mind.
